A practical course for language teachers who want to use AI tools to plan, differentiate and give feedback, without handing their professional judgement to a chatbot.
Who it is for
- English teachers in state and private schools who are already experimenting with AI tools, or are under pressure to start
- Heads of English and coordinators writing an AI policy for their department
- University preparatory (hazırlık) instructors managing large groups and heavy marking loads
What you will be able to do
- Explain in plain terms what generative AI can and cannot do in a language lesson
- Compare several AI tools on the same teaching task and choose the right one
- Write prompts that produce level-appropriate texts, tasks and feedback
- Spot bias, invented facts and privacy risks before they reach students
- Agree classroom rules on AI use that students and parents understand
- Leave with a written, ethical AI plan for one of your own classes
What the course covers

Where AI-supported feedback helps writing development and where it undermines it.
-

Questions about this course
Do I need technical knowledge to join?
No. You need to be comfortable using a browser and a free AI account. The course starts from classroom problems, not from technology.
Will the course tell me which AI tool to buy?
No. It teaches you how to evaluate tools against your own teaching needs, so your choice still makes sense when the tools change.
Is the course useful if my school restricts AI?
Yes. A large part of the course is about safe, ethical and policy-aware use, which is exactly what schools with restrictions need.
